Six people were injured in a clash between two rival groups of Bihari community over establishing supremacy at Geneva camp in the capital’s Mohammadpur area yesterday.
A clash took place between supporters of the two groups following an altercation at the camp on Wednesday midnight, said Inspector
(Investigation) of Mohammadpur Police Station Jane Alam Munshi.
As a sequel to the midnight’s clash, both groups equipped with home made arms attacked each other there around 12:30pm, leaving five people injured.
A policeman was also injured as the Bihari community people threw brick chips towards policemen when they reached there to bring the situation under control.
Inspector Jane Alam Munshi said they investigating the incident.
