BNP invites Hasina, Ashraf to party council

The BNP yesterday invited Awami League President Sheikh Hasina and its General Secretary Syed Ashraful Islam to its sixth national council scheduled to for March 19.
A four-member delegation led by Abul Khayer Bhuiyan, social welfare secretary of BNP, went to the AL chief’s Dhanmondi office and handed over two invitation cards signed by party chief Khaleda Zia, to AL sub-committee assistant secretary Abdul Awal Shamim.
The council will be held at the Institution of Engineers, Bangladesh in Dhaka.
BNP will invite leaders of different political parties, socio-cultural personalities, professionals and diplomats of different countries including the SAARC nations stationed in Dhaka to attend the council.
