No session jam even for a day from mid-2018: NU VC

Vice Chancellor of National University Prof Dr Harun-or-Rashid on Tuesday said there will be no session jam even for a single day in any course of the university from mid-2018.
“We will get rid of the curse of session jams by that time and to this end, we are working relentlessly,” he said while he was speaking as chief guest at a grand reception programme at Chandpur Puran Bazar Degree College.
Prof Harun-or-Rashid said some views exchange meetings for improving the standard of education will begin from April 1 and the first meeting will be held with the College Principals at Chittagong Commerce College.
Later at the programme, students and teachers of Chandpur Puran Bazar Degree College presented the VC with bouquets, crests and gifts.
Presided over by the College’s Principal Delwar Ahmed, the function was addressed, among others, by Chandpur Chamber of Commerce and Industries’ President Subhas Chandra Roy, Chandpur District Awami League President Nasiruddin Ahmed and its general Secretary Abu Nayeem Patwary Dulal.
