Two fined for selling jatka

A mobile court fined two fish traders Tk 5, 000 each for selling jatka (hilsa fry) at Shivalaya upazila yesterday.
Upazila administration led by Executive Officer AKM Galiv Khan conducted a drive at Aricha Ghat yesterday morning and arrested Uzzal Hossain, 40, and nayan Hossain, 35,  along with two mounds of jatka, said Rafiqul Alam, senior officer of Shaivalaya Fisheries Department.
