Police in a drive arrested three people along with 300 pieces of contraband yaba tablets from No.15 ghat in Patenga area of Chittagong early Tuesday.
The arrestees were identified as Md Rasel, 25, Azizur Rahman, 31, and Md Jashim, 21. Acting on tip-off we have arrested them along with 300 yaba tablets from their possession. They confessed to us in primary interrogation they are involved with the drug peddling,” said Alamgir Mahmud, Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Patenga Police Station.
 “A case was lodged against them under Narcotics Control Act and they were produced before court,” said the OC.
