Twelve charges pressed against 19 Maheshkhali war criminals

The prosecution at the International Crimes Tribunal (ICT)-1 yesterday submitted formal charge in the case of crimes against humanity against 19 alleged war criminals from Maheshkhali, Cox’s Bazar, pressing 12 charges, reports BSS. The prosecution team, led by senior prosecutor Rana Dasgupta, submitted the formal charge at the office of the ICT registrar. Justice Anwarul Haque, chairman of the three-member panel of the ICT-1, then set March 23 for passing further order in this regard. The investigation agency of the ICT  had issued warrants for their arrest.
