Headmaster held for beating students

OUR CORRESPONDENT, Satkhira

A high school headmaster was arrested for beating some students yesterday in Shatkhira town.
Police said Abu Taher, headmaster of Karima Secondary School, beat at least 10 students for their inability to memorise math formula.
Emdadul Haque sheikh, officer-in-charge of Sadar police station, said the police action was taken against the headmaster following complaints lodged by guardians of the students.
