Customs Intelligence seized 22,400 pieces of Security Digital (SD) memory cards worth about Taka one crore at Hazrat Shahjalal ® International Airport yesterday morning, reports BSS.
Director General (DG) of Airport Customs Dr Mainul Islam confirmed it saying, “The cards have been brought from Taiwan through Antron Express Courier for Pride International Limited, Motaleb Plaza, in the capital.”
“Each of SD memory card with 32 Gigabytes (GB) is used in the smart phones and similar devices,” he added. None was arrested in this connection.
