5 �JMB men� held with explosives

Members of Rapid Action Battalion (Rab) in a drive arrested five suspected members of banned militant outfit Jama'atul Mujahideen Bangladesh (JMB) along with huge bombs and explosives from the city’s Matuail area yesterday night, reports UNB. One of the arrestees was identified as Huzaifa Akand, ameer of Mymensingh district unit of JMB. On secret information, a team of the elite force conducted a drive on the top floor of a six-storey building in Katherpool area around 8:30pm and arrested the five suspected JMB members, said Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP) Rezaul Karim of Rab-10 said They also recovered huge bombs, explosives and bomb-making materials from the apartment.
