Old age allowance distributed

JOYPURHAT: The government distributed over Tk 2.61crore as old age allowance among 21,817 beneficiaries in the district during the three months of fiscal year 2015 2016, reports BSS.
The Department of Social Service (DSS) Joypurhat distributed the allowance among the old people at the rate of Taka 400 per month in the district. The DSS distributed the allowance from October to December 2015 of the fiscal year.
Deputy Director of DSS Nur Mohammad told BSS that the beneficiaries have been getting their respective allowance timely through their own bank accounts in a hassle-free manne.
