District AL confce to be held on March 22

FARIDPUR: The triennial conference of Faridpur district Awami League will be held on next March 22 at historical Amabica Maidan according to a decision taken yesterday (Saturday) in an extended meeting of district Awami League held at local Kabi Jasimuddin Hall attended by LGRD & Cooperatives Minister Engineer Khondoker Mosharraf Hossain as the chief guest, reports BSS.
The extended meeting was chaired by Vice-President Lokman Hossain Mridha while it was addressed among others by Bipul Ghosh, Khondoker Mohtesham Hossain Babor, Acting secretary of the district unit Syed Masud Hossain, Kazi Hedyetullah Saklain and Selim Mia.
It may be mentioned here that the last conference of the district unit was held on Last March 22 of 2005.
A preparatory committee was held yesterday with Kazi Zainul Abedin as the convenor to hold the ensuing conference successful.
