The government has asked all Bangladesh nationals not to visit war-torn Syria, as the Arab country is experiencing a dangerous security situation. “Bangladesh Nationals are strongly advised not to undertake any visit to Syria in view of the ongoing violent conflict and prevailing extremely dangerous security situation,” said a press release issued by the Foreign Ministry yesterday. “The Ministry of Foreign Affairs is monitoring the situation and further requesting Bangladesh Nationals to refrain from visiting Syria until further notification in this regard,” it said.
