Prof. Hafizuddin becomes FCPS

Prof. Dr. HAfizuddin Ahmed, Principal and Head of the dept of Surgery and Anatomy of Monowara Sikder Medical Collegehas received Honourary Fellowship of College of Physicians and Surgeons Bangladesh in recognition of his outstanding contribution to medical sciences and college. The council has unanonimously dicided to confer this vide a notification.  
It may be mentioned that Prof. Hafiz is a regular contributor to Stethoscope and has many scientific publications in international medical journals from UK, USA, France etc. One of his book has been published by WHO. He also recieved best science writeraward from Bangla Academy. He is also a literarist and regular contributors of stories , poems and essays in various papers and journals.
He is the eldest son of late Dr. Md. Ayub Mian, director of health service and late Ms. Eliza Begum of Hobigonj (Bahubal), Sylhet.
