Sonu sang a song, JA Crew suspended!
Sir,
Popular singer Sonu Nigam on the request of his fans and cabin crew on a recent Jet Airways (JA) flight from Jodhpur to Mumbai sang a song on the planes intercom which was greatly enjoyed by all the passengers and crew members on board.
But later the JA authority suspended all the crew members saying it suspended all cabin crew of a flight to enforcing corrective measures and taking disciplinary actions.
Shocked Sonu Nigam in a reaction saidTo suspend crew members for asking me to sing on the address system, when the seat belt signs were off, and no announcements were to be made, is nothing less than punishing someone for spreading happiness.
Everyone who travels by air knows that a lot of entertaining audio and videos are being served to the passengers so that they may not get bored during the journey by air.
In my opinion, by singing a song on the aircrafts address system, neither Sonu nor the cabin crews and passengers did any mistake.
Rather the act promotes Jet Airways good business
relationship!
