Auto-rickshaw driver punched to death

Comilla: An auto-rickshaw driver was killed when he was punched by a passerby over a trifling matter at Paduar Bazar in Sadar Dakkhin Upazila yesterday, reports UNB.
Prashanto Pal, officer-in-charge of Sadar Dakkhin Police Station, said Ariful Islam, 30, an auto-rickshaw driver in Barura upazila, had an altercation with Abul Hossain, a tractor driver, over parking his auto-rickshaw on the road around 11:45 am. At one stage of altercation, Abul Hossain punched Ariful in his head twice, leaving him unconscious.
Later, he was rushed to Comilla Medical College Hospital where the doctors declared Ariful dead.
