COMILLA: Senior Secretary of Public Administration Ministry Dr Kamal Abdul Naser Chowdhury yesterday called upon the teachers to ensure quality education at all levels to achieve UN adopted Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) by 2030 side by side making the new generation as able citizens of the country, reports BSS. “Quality education is one of the major components of SDG. You have to provide standard education to achieve the development goals,” he said. The senior secretary was addressing as the chief guest at an annual sports competition of Bijoykara School and College at Chauddagram Upazila under the district. Chowdhury said teachers can play a vital role to ensure standard of education with knowledge of morality. He also stressed on providing inclusive and equal education to male and female students aiming to make a superstation free society. Later, the senior secretary handed over awards to the winners of the competition. Additional Secretary of Education Ministry Abdullah Al Hasan Chowdhury presided over the function while Deputy Commissioner of Comilla District M Hasanuzzaman Kallol, among others, spoke on the occasion.
