Eastern University holds quiz competition

Eastern University, in order to encourage higher secondary level students to gather knowledge, arranged a quiz competition on its premises yesterday.
Around 100 teams each consisting of three members participants across the country competed for the champion’s title. All the teams had 30 minutes to solve 50 multiple choice questions (MCQ).   
Among them 10 teams were selected for securing highest numbers in MCQ. Out of ten the first five teams were called for the next round (rapid fire). Last three participants were selected for final audio visual round.  All of the three teams selected for final rounds were from Notre Dame College of the capital.  
The champion team, first and second runner-up received Tk 50,000, Tk 30,000 and Tk 20,000 respectively with certificates. Besides, all the participants received participation certificates.
Babylon group and Alif Group sponsored the programme while The Independent, The Daily Somokal, The Daily Bonik Barta, Asian TV and Radio ABC were media partner.
