Robbers loot Tk 1.5 lakh

Robbers looted Tk. 1.5 lakh from a house in Dakkhin Banasri Project area of the capital on Tuesday night. Sources said the robbery took place at the house of Md Ashraful Islam Khan, a Senior IT Officer (In-charge) at a Solar Energy-based company in the capital. He went with his family outside Dhaka on Sunday morning. When they came on Wednesday evening they found the house was robbed. The robbers looted around Tk. 1.5 lakh including gold, laptop, cash and other important accessories. Till writing this report, he went to the Khilgaon Police Station to file a General Diary (GD).
