One killed in road crash
A rickshaw-van puller was killed and two others were injured in a road accident at Mostormore intersection in Harintana thana on Khulna -Mongla highway yesterday. The accident took place at around 10.0am when a Khulna-bound passenger bus knocked the rickshaw van from behind. The van puller Masum Gazi, 35, who was coming to zero point area carrying passengers, fell down on the street. Local people rushed him to Khulna Medical College Hospital (KMCH) where the duty doctor declared him dead.
