Police recovered the hanging bodies of a newly married couple from a house at Anandanagar of Purba Badda area of the capital yesterday. The deceased were identified as Shahin Ahmed, 22, a furniture shop employee, and his wife Rubi Akter, 18. Talking to The Independent, Inspector M Abdul Jalil, officer-in-charge of Badda police station, said Shahin and Rubi got married recently. Getting information, police rushed to the spot and recovered the hanging bodies of the couple from a ceiling fan in a house yesterday morning. Police suspected that the young couple might have committed suicide for family feud over their marriage, he said.
