The Appellate division of the Supreme Court yesterday upheld the suspension order of Rajshahi City Corporation (RCC) mayor Mosaddek Hossain Bulbul issued by the Local Government Ministry, reports UNB. A four-member bench of the Appellate Division headed by Chief Justice SK Sinha passed the order. On May 7, the Local Government Ministry issued the order suspending the RCC mayor after police submitted chargesheets against him in four cases of vandalism and arson attacks.
