Trapped in sand hole, minor girl dies

Benapole: A minor girl was killed as she sank down into a sand hole at Bijoyrampur on the bank of Bupzera Harihar River in Manirampur upazila yesterday morning, reports UNB.
The deceased was Arifa Khatun, 7, daughter of construction worker Nazim Uddin, a resident of Bijoyrampur village.
Locals said Arifa was playing on the bank of the river in the morning. At one stage, she fell into a sand hole and died on the spot getting trapped inside around 7:30am.
