Man �kills�father

An elderly man was killed allegedly by his son at Bishnupur village in Chandpur Sadar upazila yesterday. The deceased was Siddiqur Rahman Prodhania,70. Family sources said an altercation took place between Fazlul Huque, 45, and his wife at home in the village over family affairs around 1pm. At one stage, Fazlul’s elderly father came forward and tried to pacify the enraged son, who out of anger and fury suddenly hit his father’s head leaving him dead on the spot.
