Benapole: Indian Haridaspur immigration police arrested two Kashmir citizens along with 46 gold bars, weighing 4.6 kilograms, in Petrapole check post of India opposite Benapole check post on Saturday night, reports UNB. Identities of the arrestees could not be known yet. Benapole immigration sources said they came to Jessore from Dhaka by air. After finishing their works they reached Indian Petrapole check post. Tipped- off, Indian police arrested the duo and recovered the 46 gold bars from their mobile phone sets and shoes. Nayeb Subedar Abdur Rahim of BGB camp in Benapole check post said they did not know how the arrestees escaped the check post and they got the information from BSF. Benapole customs officer Uttam Kumar Somaddar confirmed the incident.
