Razzak again under son’s direction

DL reporter

Nayak Raj-famed veteran actor Abdur Razzak, who is currently working in the only films or tele-dramas and telefilms—those have been produced under the direction of his two sons, has started working again in a new telefilm directed by his son, Khalid Hossain Shamrat.
DhakaLive has news that he is currently taking part in the shooting of the telefilm titled ‘Chairmaner Charitra Phuler Moto Pabitra’ at a shooting house in Pubail in the outskirt of the city.
Razzak earlier acted in the telefilm ‘Daaybhar’ under the direction of his younger son, Shamrat. The telefilm was aired on Channel i on the day of Razzak’s 75th birthday on January 22.
This time around, when Shamrat was planning to make this telefilm, Razzak expressed his desire to act in the role of a former chairman after reading out the story that is written by Rana Jakaria. Shamrat also gave his consent for Razzak’s entry in his project. Due to thinking of the betterment of Razzak’s physical condition, he has not been allowed by the family members to work in any other ventures produced by someone outside the family.
In the telefilm, Shamrat is playing the role of the current chairman, who does not want to get married. But his father, the former chairman, attempts to arrange his marriage forcefully. With an incident like this, the story of the telefilm will move forward.
Razzak said about working in the telefilm, “The telefilm’s story has fascinated me immensely. Therefore, I am working in it. Nowadays, Shamrat has turned a skilled director and his works have been praised.”
Shamrat said, “Mainly for my father’s interest, I am working with him. On the whole, it will be an amazing telefilm and the viewers will enjoy it.”
The telefilm, starring father and son, will be aired on Channel i soon.
