Arrest warrant against RCC's sacked mayor

RAJSHAHI: A local court here today issued arrest of warrant against the sacked mayor of Rajshahi City Corporation (RCC) Mosaddeque Hossain Bulbul for creating obstacle against government work during the anti-government movement waged by the BNP-led 20-party in 2012, reports BSS. After hearing both the sides Chief Metropolitan Magistrate Mijanur Rahman passed the order this noon. Simultaneously, the court framed charges against 22 BNP leaders and workers including Bulbul and city unit general secretary advocate Shafiqul Haque Milon. The sources told the journalists that a case had been lodged with Boalia Model Police Station on April 22, 2012 on charge of hindering the works of law enforcers.
