Motorbike rider murdered

Criminals killed a motorbike rider at Haliura near Borogram Chourasta (intersection) in Nandail upazila of the district early yesterday.
The deceased was Md Sharif Miah, 25, of Kadirpur area of Nandail. Quoting local sources Md Ataur Rahman, officer-in-charge of Nandail police station, said Sharif, who used to run motorbike on rent was on his way to Haliura in Nandail.
When Sharif reached Haliura at around 2am, the killers, in guise of passengers, took away Sharif from his motorbike and allegedly slaughtered him and left the body beside the road.
