Schoolboy killed, 30 hurt in clash over football match

Sunamganj: A schoolboy was killed and 30 others injured in a clash over football match at Abdul Gofur High School and College          playground in Dakkhin Sunamganj upazila on Thursday, reports UNB.
The deceased was identified as Gilman Hossain, a class IX student of the school and son of Abdul Kadir, a resident of Borokapan Bhadeshwar village of the upazila.
Locals and Police said the clash ensued between two group of villagers in the area over a football match, which was part of the annul sports even of the institution, around 2pm.
Officer-in-charge of Dakkhin Sunamganj Police Station Md Al-Amin Hossain confirmed the incident.
Law enforcers were deployed to fend off any further trouble, he added.
