A mobile court fined three restaurants to Tk 60,000 in Chittagong on Thursday for selling date expiry food, cooking by burnt oil and preparing food in unhygienic condition. The mobile court, led by Md Fayez Ullah, assistant director of Chittagong Directorate of National Consumer Rights Protection, conducted drives in Bayezid and Chandgon area. In the drives, the court fined, Al Maqqa Hotel Tk 10,000, Al Maqqa hotel and restaurants Tk 30,000, Ajmeri Hotel Tk 20,000 0 for selling date expired food, preparing food in unhygienic condition, said Md Fayez.
