Popular actors Nayeem and Nadia, who are now a married couple, have recently paired up for the first time after their marriage for a tele-drama titled ‘Kaatphul’. Based on the story by Azad Abul Kalam, the tele-drama has been directed by Syed Fayez Hasan. DhakaLive has news that the shooting of this tele-drama has been completed at a shooting house in the capital’s Uttara area.
Nayeem will play the role of a gangster while Nadia will play the role of his lover who has been married off. Ramiz Raju will also be appearing in the tele-drama in an important role.
Regarding her role in the ‘Kaatphul’, Nadia said, “The story of ‘Kaatphul’ is unique and is a new type of story. There is uniqueness in my character for this tele-drama. To be honest, I am having a great time working for this project. I hope the viewers appreciate it.”
Nayeem said, “Since my role will be that of a gangster, my getup for this role will be slightly different. I really enjoy playing different roles. The story of ‘Kaatphul is fantastic. I am really satisfied working in it.”
Nayeem and Nadia also informed that they have received several offers to work together in various tele-dramas. If the script is to their liking and satisfaction, they will agree to do them.
To note, the couple first paired up for a tele-drama titled ‘Nibrito Jotone’, directed by Naznin Hasan Chumki. They also paired up for the drama serial ‘Gonthobbo Niruddesh’ directed by Rahmatullah Tuhin. Presently, Nayeem-Nadia-acted drama serial ‘Bakshabandhi’ directed by Nayeem Imtiaz Neyamul is being aired on NTV.
Director Syed Fayez Hasan informed that ‘Kaatphul’ will soon air on a private satellite television channel.
