Schoolgirl dies in Habiganj road crash

HABIGANJ: A schoolgirl was killed when a bus ran over her at Chalitatala on the Dhaka-Sylhet highway in Bahubal upazila of the district yesterday morning, reports BSS. The victim was identified as Swarna Begum, 10, a student of class three of Singhanath Government Primary School and daughter of Abdal Miah, of Narikeltala of the upazila. Police said the accident took place when a Sylhet-bound bus ran over Swarna in the area at about 11 am while she was going to local bazar.
