Jamaat ameer held

Detectives in a drive arrested the Joypurhat district unit Jamaat-e-Islami ameer from in front of Muslimnagar Women’s College on the edge of the district town yesterday.
Tipped off, a team of the Detective Branch of police arrested Hasibul Alam Liton, ameer of Joypurhat district town unit Jamaat-e-Islami and vice-chairman of Sadar upazila, from the area on way home around 10 am, said Mahfuzur Rahman, officer-in-charge of the district DB police.
