Press Institute of Bangladesh organised a training prograsmme for the journalists of different print and electronic media in Rangpur at Rangpur Circuit House yesterday.
The training, on ending child marriage, corporal punishment, birth registration and child nutrition, was supported by UNICEF.
A total of 30 journalists of national and local dailies took part in the training programme.
Nur-Un-Nabi, vice-chancellor, Begum Rokeya University (BRUR), as chief guest inaugurated the training programme.
Momtaz Uddin Ahamed, administrator, Zila Parishad and Acting President, Distinct Awami League and Sadrul Alam Dulu were special guests on the occasion.
