House robbed in Sylhet

Robbers looted valuables worth Tk 5 lakh from a house in Lakaura Islampur area of the city on Wednesday night.
Police said a group of armed robbers, numbering 10 to 15 swooped on the house of Modabbir Hussain Babul, a stone businessman, at the dead of night and looted the valuables, worth about Tk 5 lakh, including the 7 gold bars and Tk 50,000.
Later, the robbers escaped with the booty.
