Two women held with 15-kg hemp

MAGURA: Police in a drive arrested two women drug peddlers and recovered 15-kg of hemp from Dhaka Road area in the district town yesterday morning, reports BSS.
The arrestees were Safia, 52, and Monowara, 55. Both of them are residents of Purba Jikabari area in Gaibandha district.
On a tip-off, a team of police from Sadar police station conducted a drive in the area and arrested the duo with the hemp, said officer-in-charge of sadar police station Azmal Huda.
