English medium school Drexel International School (DIS) recently celebrated International Mother Language Day with befitting manner organising cultural programme at the school campus at Gulshan in the capital, says a press release.
The students performed different cultural items including patriot song, drama on historical issues. The teachers and guest discussed on historical importance of the 21st February.
DIS Vice Principals, Nurul Alam and Faruque Hossain were present, among others, while DIS Principal, Mohammad Habibur Rahman presided over the function. School Directors, Manjure Elahi Bhuiyan, Slama Kibria and Atia Bhuiyan handed over the prizes among winners at the event.
