MSC Metro School TT begins today

Kokomo Dhaka Metropolitan School Table Tennis Tournament 2016 organised by Mohammedan Sporting Club Limited will be held fro today at the auditorium of the club in Motijheel.
Quantum Corporation Limited has been sponsoring the tournament with an aim to create paddlers from the grassroots. Former national women champion Jobera Rahman Linu, who is also the member-secretary of the tournament committee, stated this at a press conference at the club hall room yesterday. Quantum Corporation Ltd HR manager Ayrin Nasir also spoke on the occasion. Mohammedan Sporting Club director Sarwar Hossain presided over the press conference.
About 200 students drawn from 32 schools of the Dhaka metropolis are taking part in the tournament.
A total of six events will be staged in the tournament. The events are: boys’ team, girls’ team, boys’ singles sub-junior, girls’ singles sub-junior, boys’ singles junior and girls’ singles junior.
