The Anti Corruption Commission (ACC) will interrogate seven officials of National Housing Authority (NHA) in connection with an irregularity of plot distribution, reports UNB
The national anti-graft agency yesetrday sent a notice to the NHA chairman asking them to be present at the ACC head office on March 10, 2016, according to official sources.
The ACC will quiz NHA joint secretary Azaharul Haque, its director Shannewaz Chowdhury, deputy directors SM Tipu Sultan and Al Mamun, assistant director Mustafa Kamal, former chief engineer Amir Ali Mondol and Mohibur Rahman.
According to an allegation received by the ACC, some NHA officials in connection with each other allocated a plot to one violating the housing rules for their personal gains. The plot was earlier allocated to another person.
ACC deputy director Zulfikar Ali is probing the allegation.
