BSF returns 57 fishermen

OUR CORRESPONDENT, Satkhira

 Indian Border Security Force (BSF) handed over 57 Bangladeshi fishermen to BGB at Koikhali frontier in Shymnagar upazila yesterday. They were arrested by BSF for illegal entry into Indian territorial water while fishing.
Officer-in-charge of Sunderbon coastal police station Abu Hassan said the Indian authorities had sent the fishermen into jail on charges of illegal entry.
All the returnees are the inhabitants of Cox’s Bazar and Noakhali districts.
