CHITTAGONG: An anti-adulteration mobile court of Chittagong District Administration (CDA) yesterday fined a restaurant TK 20, 000 in the city's WASA crossing area, reports BSS.
CDA Executive Magistrate Tamim-Al-Yamin conducted a drive in the area and fined Taoukul Hotel & Restaurant for not maintaining cleanliness and preserving food items in proper ways.
The penalties were made under 'Consumers' Rights Protection Act-2009' and 'Bangladesh Hotel and Restaurant Act-2014', the executive magistrate said.
