Truck driver stabbed dead in Savar

Savar: A truck driver was stabbed to death on the Dhaka-Aricha highway in Aminbazar tempo stand area early yesterday, reports UNB.
The deceased was identified as Sagar Miah, a resident of Daulatpur upazila of Manikganj district.
SM Kamruzzaman, officer-in-charge of Savar Model Police Station, said miscreants stabbed Sagar and snatched some cash and a mobile phone set from him early in the morning.
Later, locals spotted his body under a truck in the area in the morning and informed police.
On information, police recovered the body and sent it to Dhaka Medical College Hospital morgue for an autopsy. The body bore several injury marks.
