Singapore has expressed its interest to hire skilled manpower from Bangladesh to meet its growing labour demand, reports UNB. Singapore Manpower Minister LIM Swee Say said this during a meeting with a Bangladesh delegation, led by Expatriates’ Welfare & Overseas Employment Minister Nurul Islam BSc, in Singapore yesterday. Swee Say said many foreign workers have been working in Singapore now and it wants to hire more skilled manpower, said a PID handout here. Nurul Islam thanked the Singapore government for giving opportunity to over 54,000 Bangladeshi workers to work there and said Bangladesh is ready to send skilled manpower to Singapore as per its demand.
