Tk 2.10 crore heroin seized

RAJSHAHI: Police in an anti-crime drive arrested an alleged drug-trafficker with 2.10 kilograms of heroin worth about Taka 2.10 crore from Jhikargachha crossing area under Godagari upazila of the district this afternoon, police sources said, reports BSS.
The arrested person was identified as Shahabul Islam, 22, son of late Enamul Haque of Mohishalbari area under the same upazila.
Acting on a tip-off, a special police team conducted a drive in the area and arrested Shahabul witnessing his suspicious movement and seized the heroin from his possession, said Abu Farhad, Officer-in-charge of Godagari Police Station.
