The Anti Corruption Commission (ACC) yesterday had a videoconference with Savar local administration to exchange views on corruption prevention activities, reports UNB.
ACC Commissioner Dr Nasir Uddin Ahmed talked to the local government officials, civil society and Upazila Corruption Prevention Committee members of Savar through the videoconference held at the ACC head office on Thursday afternoon.
He wanted to know whether there is any visible progress in providing public services to people after the public hearing held at Savar on September, 2015.
Participating in the videoconference, local advocate Nazrul Islam said people now can avail themselves of free services from the local land office after the public hearing.
ACC directors general Dr Shamsul Arefin and Md Ziauddin and its analyst Razib Hasan were present at the videoconference.
