Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF) announced the 22-man preliminary squad on Tuesday for their last match of the FIFA World Cup qualifying against Jordan. Before playing the World Cup qualifier they will play a friendly against UAE in Dubai.
Bangladesh will play the match against Jordan on March 24 and the friendly match on March 18.
However, Fazle Rabbi, Shakil Ahmed and Fahad are the new faces in the 22-man team while seven players, who are facing disciplinary charges were not called in the preliminary list.
Besides, the accused seven players, Hemanta Vincent, Emily, Alamgir Kabir and Mithun Chowdhury had also not get call. All the players have been asked to report to the team manager Sattayajit Das Rupu on February 27 at the BFF Bhaban.
Meanwhile, Gonzalo Sanchaez Moreno has been appointed as the team head coach, while Atiqur Rahman as goalkeeper coach.
