LGRD and Cooperatives Minister Engineer Khand-aker Mosharraf Hossain called upon Singapore to exchange experiences, research findings and implementation strategies with Bangladesh to face climate change impacts, reports BSS.
He made the call during a meeting with Singap-orean Minister for Environment and Water Resources Masagos Zulkifli at his office in Singapore.
The minister led a delegation to Singapore to exchange experiences to face climate change impacts recently, said an official release in the capital yesterday.
Members of the delegation included LGED Chief Engineer Shyama Prashad Adhikari and other senior officials.
Mosharraf Hossain told the Singaporean minister that both Singapore and Bangladesh can be benefitted by exchanging experiences over climate change.
The two countries have many geographical similarities, he added.
Meanwhile, a seminar was held in Singapore on the impacts of climate change.
Bangladesh High Commissioner Mahbub Uz Zaman and senior officials of Singapore government attended the seminar, among others.
