700 bottles of foreign wine seized in Ctg

CHITTAGONG: Coast Guard personnel in a drive seized 700 bottles of foreign wine from Dobashi area of Gohira village under Anwara upazila of the district early yesteday, coast guard sources said, reports BSS.
On secret information, a team of coast guard personnel raided at Dobashi area of Gohira village under Anwara upazila of the district at 3.40 am early yesterday and recovered 700 bottles foreign wine.
The seized wine worth about Tk 15 lakh in an abandoned state, said Lieutenant Colonel Commander Sheikh Fakaruddin, east zone of Coast Guard.
