The International Crimes Tribunal (ICT)-1 yesterday set May 8 for submitting formal charge against two alleged Razakars from Satkhira including former Jamaat lawmaker Abdul Khaleque Mondol, reports BSS.
Justice Anwarul Haque, chairman of the three-member panel of the ICT-1, set the date as prosecutor Rezia Sultana Chemon submitted progress report on investigation and sought three more months to submit the final probe report or formal charge. Mondol was arrested on June 16, 2015, from Khalilnagar area under Sadar upazila of Satkhira. He is accused of leading murder, rape and grabbing lands and house of Hindus in 1971.
