Youth Welfare Fund Bill, 2016 placed in JS

State Minister for Youths and Sports Dr Biren Sikder yesterday introduced the 'Youth Welfare Fund Bill, 2016' in the Jatiya Sangsad for a comprehensive integration of the youths into the mainstream of the country's overall development through providing necessary patronization and support to the youth organizations, reports BSS. The bill proposed necessary amendments and modifications of the Youth Welfare Fund Ordinance 1985 and introduction of the law in Bengali afresh. The bill also aims at giving legal coverage to all the actions adopted and done under the Youth Welfare Fund Ordinance 1985, which was cancelled due to scrapping of the Seventh Amendment tothe constitution by the Supreme Court.
