Sweater factory catches fire

GAZIPUR:  A fire broke out at a sweater factory in Chhoidana Hajirpukur area of the city yesterday morning, UNB.
Hasibur Rahman, an officer at Joydebpur Fire Service Station, said the fire broke out in Priti Sweater Factory on the top floor of an eight-storey building around 4:30am.
On information, 12 firefighting units from different fire service stations, rushed in and put out the fire around 6am.
